HEBDEN BRIDGE LOCAL FOOD FESTIVAL
Hebden Bridge's Alternative Technology Centre are organising the first Local Food Festival with a whole programme of events and activities throughout May 2009, commencing Bank Holiday Monday in St George’s Square with farmers bringing animals, calves, lambs chickens for children to see.
Events and attractions include a Real Farmer's Market, Farm Animals in the Square, Pennine Prospects Food Fair (Todmorden), Community Compost Scheme and The Biggest Slug Competition amongst a whole host of others!

BRASS BAND WEEKEND GOING AHEAD
After last years successful Weekend of Brass, Hebden Bridge Brass Band are holding the event once more:-

Fox And Goose 6th Anniversary Beer Festival 2009
The 6th Anniversary Beer Festival at the Fox and Goose in Hebden Bridge is this year titled “The Big 50” to Simon’s half century. There will be the usual selection of fine ales set up in the festival room, some of our favourite beers from our first 6 years at the Fox and a goodly few unusual ones from some rare and hard to find breweries.
